The prestigious Champions Boat League (CBL) returns with its 5th season, bringing 14 thrilling races across Kerala over three months. Organized by Kerala Tourism, CBL has become one of the state’s most anticipated cultural and sporting spectacles.

The 2025 edition begins on September 19 with the inaugural race at the Pampa River in Kainakary, Alappuzha. The grand finale will be held on December 6 at Ashtamudi in Kollam, coinciding with the illustrious President’s Trophy.

This year, the league expands its reach with venues across South, Central, and Malabar Kerala, featuring iconic race locations such as Thalassery, Kottayam, Kasaragod, Kochi, Kozhikode, Thrissur, and multiple stops in Alappuzha before concluding in Kollam.

Reigning champions Pallathuruthy Boat Club (PBC), who have secured the title four times in a row, will look to defend their crown. Team lineups and prize money details will be announced soon.

A state-level organizing committee, chaired by Tourism Minister Shri P.A. Mohamed Riyas, will oversee the smooth execution of the league.
