The Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) returns for its 14th edition, bringing together cinephiles, filmmakers, and artists from around the world to the scenic foothills of the Himalayas. Set at the beautiful Tibetan Children’s Village, Upper Dharamshala, the festival takes place from 30 October to 2 November 2025.

Founded in 2012 by filmmakers Ritu Sarin and Tenzing Sonam, DIFF has become one of India’s leading independent film festivals, known for its warm, intimate environment and adventurous programming. The festival focuses on showcasing contemporary independent cinema, art, and new media practices. It also serves as an important platform for nurturing local Himalayan filmmaking talent and engaging the region’s diverse communities.
