Kochi is set to become the epicentre of India’s Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE) and destination wedding industry this week, as the state hosts its maiden Wedding and MICE Conclave.
Historic First for India’s MICE and Wedding Tourism Industry
Kerala is making a bold move to place itself on the global map for business events and high-profile weddings, as the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM) Society, in collaboration with the state government, is organising India’s first-ever Wedding and MICE Conclave. The prestigious event will commence on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt, Bolgatty Island, Kochi, with a grand inaugural ceremony at 5 PM.
Tourism and Public Works Minister P.A. Mohamed Riyas will officially inaugurate the three-day event, while Industries, Law and Coir Minister P. Rajeeve will preside over the opening session.

The conclave has attracted 610 domestic buyers and 65 international buyers from 20+ countries, including the UAE, UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, Turkey and more.
